Judas Priest
Ram It Down, 1988 // A huge metal fist slamming down onto planet Earth. It was the perfect way for Mark to start a long association with Judas Priest which has lasted for over thirty years.
Painkiller, 1990 // The winged metallic Painkiller riding a monster motorbike above a world intent on destroying itself. Mark used to walk through a hardware shop in the mornings to get to the studio on the floor above. One day he noticed some circular saw blades hanging on the wall and it gave him the idea for the wheels of this bike.
Metalworks, 1993 // The final showdown in the skies above a futuristic steelworks between ‘The Hellion’ creature from Screaming For Vengeance and the Painkiller with other visual references from the band’s past album sleeves scattered around the cover painting.
Jugulator, 1997 //
Angel of Retribution, 2005 // There is a hint of a metal messiah about this angel as he walks through fire with his arms aloft. There is also a suggestion of Antony Gormley’s Angel of The North sculpture.
Nostradamus, 2008 // As Judas Priest approached their 40th anniversary, they embarked on a huge and ambitious project. Nostradamus is a concept album that concentrated on the life of the 16th century French prophet.
Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse, 2008 // ‘Conquest’, ‘War’, ‘Plague & Pestilence’ and ‘Death’ from the Nostradamus album.
A Touch Of Evil – Live, 2009 //
Epitaph, 2013 // Created for the Epitaph World Tour posters and the cover art for the live film released by Judas Priest. The show was first seen in cinemas in New York and in London with special screenings around the world. It then premiered on VH1 Classic in the United States before being released on DVD and Blu-Ray in May 2013.
